My Story

I have worked in healthcare 30 years, 26 of those as a nurse. I have cared for patients and families through many different stages of life. Some of the most meaningful lessons I have learned about caregiving have come from my own family.

I am a daughter, wife, mom, Mimi, nurse, and veteran advocate. While working full-time, attending college full-time, and raising teenagers, I was also trying to bridge the gaps in care for my father, a Vietnam Veteran who was battling service-connected lung cancer. I saw firsthand how difficult it can be for families to manage appointments, medications, changing health needs, communication with multiple providers, and all of the little things that come with caring for someone you love.

After losing my dad, the need for additional support became even more apparent as my mother’s care needs increased over the years. Like so many other adult children of aging parents, I understand the struggle of wanting to be there for everything while also balancing work , family, and everyday responsibilities.

That experience inspired Your Nurse at Home TN LLC.

My goal is to provide families with an extra layer of support - someone knowledgeable who can check in, help organize care, attend appointments, assist with medications, provide pre-operative and post-operative support, chronic disease management support, and help families feel more informed and connected.

I believe many families in our community are facing the same challenges. Having a trusted nurse to help fill in the gaps can make aging in place possible for many.

That is the heart behind Your Nurse at Home TN LLC: expert care, compassionate support, and a helping hand for families trying to care for those they love.
